Phaedra Englezou born in Athens in 1980, is an artist and museologist based in Piraeus, Greece.
In 2012 she graduated with First-Class Honours from the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the University of Western Macedonia in Greece, having attended the 3rd Painting Workshop, under the supervision of Professor Harris Kondosphyris. During her studies, she attended a range of workshops, including Painting, Sculpture, Decorative Arts, Digital Arts, Photography, Performance Art, and Jewellery. Her academic achievements were recognized with a scholarship and performance award from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) for the academic year 2010-2011.
In 2019, Englezou pursued her studies further and obtained a joint Master's degree in Museum Studies with First-Class Honours from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of West Attica. Her Master's Thesis, entitled "The representation of the refugee memory of Nea Lampsakos, Euboea, through a public art installation", was submitted in 2021.
Englezou is a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece and has been teaching visual arts courses since 2013.

"Art is a means of communication for me. It is a medium through which I convey my thoughts and emotions. My inspiration comes from anything that moves me or sparks my interest, and I hope that my work will be interpreted by each viewer according to their own unique perceptions”.
